The Inaugural Lectureship Holder is Prof. Kip Thorne, the Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology, U.S.A. Prof. Thorne is a renowned physicist, a world authority on Gravitation and General Relativity, as well as a proponent and science master-mind behind the recent movie "Interstellar". Various events will be organized, including the viewing of "Interstellar", Public Lecture, Round-Table Discussions and Professional Workshop.
